I am so excited, but I have one issue and need some help. I noticed after starting it up and running it for a short period of time next to the inside babbit bearing the next piece was warm. SO I shut it down. The piece I am talking about is where the spring rides on the shaft. I believe there is a ball bearing between but I can tell you if you turn the mill over by hand you can watch the edge of the piece against the spring actually index against the other piece of metal. I hope I am describing this right. The mill is a 1945 meadows 30 inch, if that helps anyone think of what style I am talking about. also in the piece of metal the collar has a v I did not know if oil or other
lubricant goes in, but still it is not very large, and has never had a oiler or anything on top. I hope someone can help with what I need to do. Thank you, greg </div><div style="position:fixed"></div>
