The Meadows mill does a great job on wheat I have ground on them for years
and had no problem with them on wheat at all I also had the opportunity to
work on one at the springs mill bakery in D.C. last year and they grind
about 80 ton a year on there mill master and you could not want a better mill
for baking bread . John Childers ,Stantons mill Grantsville Maryland.

I have no problems with milling any of the wheats that I have tried. I
have used the red and white wheats from wheat montana as well as a local
grown white. The mill does an excellent job with all, especially when the
stones are well dressed.

Ted Hazen, in his Pond Lily Mill Restorations website, says that the stone
in Meadows mills, while fine for corn, is too soft for optimum milling of
hard wheat. I'd like to see anyone's comment on the subject.
