[Gristmillers] Meadows Mills and Hard Wheat

Ted Hazen, in his Pond Lily Mill Restorations website, says that the stone in Meadows mills, while fine for corn, is too soft for optimum milling of hard wheat. I'd like to see anyone's comment on the subject.
