Ken should be posting the pics of my bearing pour to maybe help in your new
cap purchase. Doing the top is the easiest using a grease cup as the sprue
and Play Doe for containing the babbitt. I also drilled a small vent hole on
the car end of the long cap to reduce the cold shut. You may not have to do
that. But it doesn't hurt as it seals itself up.
