I went to the National Threshers Reunion with the mill several years
ago. A large popcorn grower asked me to grind some of his popcorn for
him. He liked cornmeal made from popcorn but had trouble finding
someone to grind it. The next day he brought 2 100 lb bags, one of
white and one of yellow popcorn. I ground them and he gave me some of
each. It was a good cornmeal. Since we weren't selling it we didn't
have to worry about any health inspections.

That's all they grind at the fair now. As you say it is very easy to use and once you get setup to use it, it grinds real well. Makes good corn bread and FANTASTIC hushpuppies. I did some last year at our local farmer's market and it sold very well. I've had some of the byuyers ask if I was going to bring the popcorn again this year, (wanting it for the hushpuppies).
