[Gristmillers] meadows speed

I replied to this lastnight, not sure why it didn't show up.  But this is my take on running (grinding) speed.

Meadows says 650 to 700 rpm's,  with 8hp or better engine.  If your engine is NOT " hit & miss"  you will be ok to trickle feed your mill for show.  If it IS hit & miss you may have some problems.

All of the grist mills are alike in many ways, but you will find that each mill has it's own "sweet spot" for doing the best grinding.  This will depend on feed rate and stone speed and one will directly effect the other and will greatly effect what comes out of your meal spout.
