Do0 you have a john Deere Dealer in your area?  I think if I remember right it is No. 35 flat chain. Do you have any of the old chain?  If readable there should be a number on the links round end that will have the number on it.  Sorry I don't have a piece of chain available right now to look at without running down to the farm. You should also be able to find chain at Farm & Fleet, Big R's, Tractor Supply or another Farm Supply Company
