[Gristmillers] Gem of the South Mill

Straub Machinery (as far as I know) seemed to be the foundry that produced the mill castings. Whether or not they actually finished the castings, I don't know. Straub also (around the same time) sold their mills through Quaker City and under the Quaker City name. Both Quaker city and Straub machinery are still in buisness. I think the website for Quaker City is www.qcgsys.com and there is a link to the Straub website from there. I find it interesting that their little F-4 grinder appears to have remain unchanged for the last 100 years! It even looks like the same image from the catalogue that's posted on the gristmillers website!
