Very cool info! Where did you dig that up from? Did that come from the history on the Rotex page? Good work and thanks for sharing it with the group!

Did a little digging and find that Isaac Straub was an Uncle
to Ambrose.  Ambrose's father, Abraham was a twin of Isaac.
They were all born in PA.  Isaac moved to Ohio in 1838 and 
his patent for a portable gristmill (#1491) was granted in 1840.
