If you want an idea of prices go to
http://www.meadowsmills.com/forsalehm.htm
Be prepared to work on them. Good wood working abilities and some mechanical
savvy.
There a quite a few out there. I put a want ad in and got at least 10 calls.
4 visits and 10 calls showed me bearing journals clammed shut in need of new
babbitt, all needed new wood, the iron ones made me nervous, most of the
others were too big and finally got me my sweet sixteen for $200. Had a 30"
w/ 4 cyl engine for free if I would come and get it. Should have gotten the
8" and 12" but I'm out of room.
Happy Holidays,
Ron
